Our Story
Ondara Atelier is at the beginning of its story.
We are a young, independent women's fashion brand based in Ontario, Canada. We don't have decades of history behind our name. What we do have is a clear idea of the kind of brand we want to build, one that understands how personal getting dressed can be for a woman.
Ondara Atelier was founded by Abigail Jenkins whose background in dress and fashion design shaped an early appreciation for silhouette, proportion, fabric, and the small details that can completely change how a garment feels when worn.
For Abigail, fashion was never only about clothing looking beautiful on a hanger or in a photograph. It was about the woman wearing it, how she moves, how she feels, and the confidence that can come from putting on something that simply feels right.
That idea eventually became Ondara Atelier. Starting a fashion brand from the ground up has been exciting, uncertain, and, at times, intimidating. There was no perfect moment to begin and no guarantee that people would notice a new name entering an already crowded industry.
But eventually, waiting until everything felt perfectly ready seemed less important than having the courage to begin. So we did.
What We're Building
Ondara Atelier is created with women at the centre of every decision.
Our collections focus on feminine silhouettes, contemporary shapes, wearable trends, and pieces intended to feel just as good in everyday life as they look online.
We believe style should help a woman feel more like herself, rather than make her feel as though she needs to become someone else.
That means we consider not only appearance, but also fit, comfort, fabric, versatility, and the details that influence how a garment feels when it is actually worn.
As a new brand, we are still developing our point of view collection by collection. We would rather grow thoughtfully, listen to our customers, and learn from experience than pretend we already have everything figured out.
Why Ondara Atelier
Clothing can be incredibly personal. Sometimes it is confidence. Sometimes it is comfort. Sometimes it is the dress you remember wearing on an important evening or the piece you reach for whenever you want to feel a little more put together.
Those moments are what inspired Ondara Atelier. We wanted to create a destination for women who appreciate fashion but still want their clothes to feel wearable, comfortable, feminine, and personal.
Ondara Atelier is an independent online women's fashion brand based in Ontario, Canada. Operating online allows us to focus our attention on thoughtfully building our collections and continually improving the customer experience.
We are still at the beginning, and we think there is something meaningful about being able to say that openly.
Our Collections
Ondara Atelier offers women's clothing selected around a consistent point of view: modern femininity, confident silhouettes, thoughtful details, and pieces that can become a genuine part of a woman's wardrobe.
Before bringing a style into our collection, we consider the things that matter beyond the first photograph — how it fits into real life, how it can be worn, how the fabric feels, and whether it belongs within the world we are trying to create.
Our goal isn't to fill a website with as many products as possible.
We want Ondara Atelier to become a place where women can discover pieces they are genuinely excited to wear.
Sourcing & Transparency
We work with manufacturing and fulfillment partners overseas to bring our collections to customers.
We believe customers deserve straightforward information about what they are purchasing. That is why we aim to clearly communicate product materials, sizing information, estimated delivery times, and other relevant product details before an order is placed.
Because some of our products are fulfilled through international partners, delivery times may vary depending on the item and destination.

We would rather give customers realistic expectations from the beginning than make promises we cannot consistently keep.

We can't say that we've spent years building a community.
We're building it now.
Every person who places an order with Ondara Atelier during these early stages is becoming part of the beginning of this brand, and we don't take that lightly.

Our Approach to Growth
We know that being a responsible business isn't something we can prove with a paragraph on an About page.
It has to be reflected in the way we operate.
We're still learning, and we won't claim that every part of our business is perfect. What we can do is communicate honestly, set realistic expectations, take responsibility when something goes wrong, and continue improving as we grow.
We want to build Ondara Atelier carefully.
Better before bigger.
The Beginning
There is something vulnerable about putting your name and your ideas into the world before anyone knows whether they will succeed.
But there is something exciting about it too.
Ondara Atelier exists because we decided that beginning imperfectly was better than endlessly waiting for the perfect moment.
This is our first chapter.
There will be new collections, lessons we haven't learned yet, decisions we'll probably look back on differently, and hopefully many women who discover something here that makes them feel beautiful and confident in their own way.
